Sawn timber

Sawn timber used in construction is full‑edged and classified as either AB or C grade. AB, also known as ST grade, is suitable for visible, non‑load‑bearing applications where a clean appearance and consistent dimensions contribute to a high‑quality finish. C, or VI grade, is used in concealed non‑load‑bearing structures such as battens, subflooring and crawlspace constructions, where technical performance and cost‑efficiency are the main priorities.

Full‑edged sawn timber provides precise dimensions and straight, clean edges for installation, while waney‑edged timber is suited to applications where more flexible sizing is acceptable, such as packaging or hidden structural uses.

The sawn timber in our range is kiln‑dried, consistent in quality and sourced from reliable, long‑term suppliers. This ensures excellent machinability and predictable performance in framing, interior finishing and various specialised construction solutions.
